Privacy & your records
Understand what stays on your device and what you choose to share.
App records stay in this browser
Vials, cycles, shot logs, weight, fasting, wellness and training records are stored in browser storage on your device. PepGuide has no account-based cloud sync and does not intentionally upload these health records to its server. A different browser, device or website address has a separate set of records.
Backups and transfers
You control downloaded JSON backups. They contain personal records and are not password-protected or encrypted by PepGuide. When you email or share one, the provider or recipient you choose receives that file. Losing the device or clearing browser data can erase the local copy; maintain a private backup.
Saved profiles and preferences
The research website stores saved profile names locally. Theme, language and app installation preferences are also local. Research favorites are separate from the app backup. You can remove saved profiles individually; export app records before clearing website data.
Forms you submit to the website
Newsletter signup sends your entered email address to the website server. Supplier submissions send the form fields and documentation you deliberately provide. These are separate from private app records. Do not put personal health records into public supplier documentation.
Hosting and external links
The live site was observed loading GoDaddy traffic-monitoring code during the September 23, 2026 review. Hosting services may process connection and diagnostic information such as an IP address and requested page. That observation does not establish that your stored health records are transmitted. External research links and email or sharing apps follow their own privacy policies.
Control and contact
Removing local records does not delete a previously downloaded or emailed backup. Public feedback collection is not enabled. Contact details for server-submission privacy requests will be listed on our Contact page when available.
